Overview

Open Colleges is experiencing significant growth and organisational expansion. In this context, these are exciting opportunities for passionate and experienced Content Developers to write content for our Certificate IV in Leisure and Health to join our team. 

Working closely with the Course Development team, you will write, curate and edit high quality content and assessment. You will have had experience developing suitable learning materials for online delivery modes and demonstrated experience in the vocational education and training sector.     

Key Attributes & Experience:

You will have current, practical experience in one or more areas related to Graphic Design including:

  • Experience working in the Leisure & Health sector as a Recreational Worker in Aging Support and/or Disability and/or Community Services
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health

You will also have some experience of developing materials for VET. We are looking for people with recent work experience in these areas (preferably coupled with experience in training) to write course materials for online learners. Content writers will be supplied with templates and guidance to write original course materials suitable for adult learners. Content writers should have strong verbal and written communication skills. Research skills are essential.
