5. Giving change: Accurately calculating and dispensing change.
6. Maintaining supplies: Ensuring there are sufficient supplies of change, wrapping materials, and other necessary items.
7. Cash management: Counting and recording money received, balancing against register sales records, and preparing money for deposit.
8. Petty cash: Recording and balancing petty cash disbursements.
9. Computer operations: Using a computer terminal to administer the store's financial transaction system.
10. Cheque cashing: Cashing authorized cheques.
11. Customer service: Answering questions, assisting with returns or exchanges, and resolving issues.
